"Drive Image" utility for Touch Pro/winmo?

After much time spent experimenting with different ROMS/flashing/re-flashing & tweaking, I finally have my TP set up exactly how I want it.

Even though I have this thing set up "perfect", the side of me that likes to tinker still wants to try all the other cool stuff I find here & on XDA, but I am looking for a safety net in case something goes wrong so I don't have to spend forever setting my phone back up after a hard reset.

Is there anything out there that creates a "drive image" of your phone similar to how Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image does on your PC? Everything I have found just does a backup of your contacts,email,some settings,etc...

I would like to be able to image the main memory of my TP to my storage card, hard reset the phone, then install that backup image & have my phone returned to the state it was when the image was made. I don't expect this image to work if I flash to another ROM.

I am very interested in this as well. All I have been able to find is Sashimi to auto set up the .cab files and other settings once you hard reset your phone. Other than that you can or cook your own ROM...

I hope there is said program out there.

You could make a backup using Sprite Backup, and then restore the backup like you want to do. Sprite backup saves all your settings and programs/etc. You can save the backup on your SD card so you have it with you always.

I just did this today, got my phone perfect the way I want ( for now ) so I can tinker around and mess it up and then just restore my backup.

the HTC Data Backup CAB works pretty well for me. I used it to backup everything when I first started trying out custom ROMs, and so I would back it up before putting the custom ROM on it, then if something went bad, I would just restore that backup file, and it would put the stock ROM back on my device. CAB is attached, both ZIP and standard CAB formats.
