Contact Specific Text Notifications?

I tried searching for this but didn't see anything...basically I'm looking for a way to get different notifications depending on who's texting me. Is that possible?

Yeah, I used to use a program called mRing that would allow that.

I don't remember paying for it.. but its looks like its not free.

I use photocontacts pro. http://www.pocketx.net/products/photocontactspro_ppc/
It's not cheap, but it does alot for the money. Allows customized ringtones and sms notifications for each contact. Also allows profiles and some fairly advanced customization within those as well. For example I have a profile setup so that when I don't want to be bothered, work gets kicked straight to voicemail. No ringing on my end, no worries.

There is also a demo available which I just noticed on the site as well, so you can always d/l it and just give a try.

I use AlarmPal... puts an icon in prog group, sets custom rings for all contacts and general alarms, lets you set a timed silent profile, too. Kinda handy... $4 (that's less than a reasonable donation). It works, I like it. Free trial.
