Help? Stuck on Relocker

Hello,

I had the seemingly ubiquitous broken keyboard issue and had to reflash my rom to stock to return it. No problems there, but when I went to relock it using the relocker and directions found in the sticky (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333), the TP hangs on a screen that says "Loading".

I tried to go into bootloader and flash another rom from my SD card and the TP in bootloader says:

"Upgrade ROM code error Please Try Again"

So far i have tried about 9 times with no luck

I flash from SD since I usually have issues connecting over vista, but tried to get a connection to see if I could connect that way. No luck, same error.

Please help! I have 9 days to return this thing to Sprint before they charge me!

Man you guys had me thinking I had totally killed my device and stumped you. (but I know that ain't possible.)

I ended up being able to reflash from my XP running work computer (thanks be my job is too stingy to have "upgraded" to vista).

Now I just wonder what I must have done wrong to make that happen so I don't do it again...

Does relocking via SD give anyone else such issues?

Any thoughts?

I actually had the exact same problem when I relocked last time. For some reason I could not relock via usb, so i did it on the sd card. Got stuck on the loading screen even after soft and hard reset. Came to the forum and they told me just to flash via usb again and it worked like a charm.

Glad you were able to figure it out fairly quickly, took me 8 hours.

Well it was only quick because I figured that my Vista Connection wasn't the answer and I didn't have XP at home so I had to wait to get to work. I went to sleep.

It was either that or panic

Also I see that you relocked from the SD card. I think that is where i ran into problems. Did you use the directions in the sticky i mentioned above?

Yeah I did. But now i notice that there is a file attached called sprint relocker that wasn't there when I did this back in June. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Yeah that's what gave me the heart palpitations.

Do you remember what you used the first time? I will try that if you know where I can find it.

**** i have screen issues and set everything back to stock sprint and just needed to relock and my data cable is a like messed up so i tried via SD and same thing all it says is loading. how did u guys fix urs?

never mind on the above i found a forum and got it to work by pullin the sd card and then it would go into bootloader and just ran the stock sprint exe. but about **** my pants before that
