Palringo is sucking up your battery. Constant data connection. Push email not so much.

RonDutt, getting 4 days out of a TP doesn't sound right.

And my battery life went into the toilet yesterday. I used to go easily a full day with heavy usage and not burn through the battery. Now with light usage it's gone by lunch time.

Only thing I did differently was install the Hava TV client and the new HTC Wifi Router. Both apps were not on and WiFi was turned off. I uninstalled them both and reboot. Hope my battery comes back.

Run the latest SilenceMighty ROM(love it!) and the latest Alltel radio.

I don't believe that unless it was in airplane mode......

I have drastically increased my battery life by using either NFSFAN's latest or Merdin 6.5 (4.5) but I still don't think either one would go 4 days in standby with the screen turned off............

That's what I said, John. 4 days is impossible no matter what settings u have. How long does your battery last now with either of those ROMs?

Ljayhova, they all will run your battery down if you use them. I'm not sure if one is better on battery than the other.

I can now make it through a full day with either of these ROM's (both are WM 6.5) I never came close to that with a stock TP.

I use Seidio 1500 batteries & always carry a spare with me, but lately I haven't had to swap batteries at all.

I have VZ wireless sync checking email, weather panel updating & I text & use the phone moderately all day I would say.

Actually, one of mine did last 4 days once.

It was a brand new unactivated TP. I flashed it to Merdin 6.5, charged it fully & then turned the screen off & set it on my kitchen table.

I was out of town for just about 4 days on business after that & when I got home it still had some battery life left..........
