Just came across this Post on Wmpowerusers.

http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=5889

I have tested it and it works great. I think I am gonna stick to this one.

Re: No More WMWifiRouter?

im happy with wmwifirouter atm, and the thread over at XDA doesnt have much feedback on how its working yet. Its definately cool, but seems it may be lacking some of the customization that wmwifirouter offers.

Re: No More WMWifiRouter?

Believe this is already posted in software forum. Think the mods need to move this there so everybody can see it. But thanks for the post OP

Re: No More WMWifiRouter?

I tested it and it works great. I didn't use the extra fluff in wmwifirouter. This is perfect.

Very cool. Can a company like Sprint can detect tethering with this?

Worked great the one time I tested it. I hope this is a main app in future versions of MR.

Haven't tested this yet, but looks interesting. I am a licensed WMWiFiRouter user too. App is well worth the money. Kinda surprised it too so long for an alternative to come along.

Re: No More WMWifiRouter?

I can't get it to allow my laptop to connect, this is like the first time an app hasn't done as expected. I am assuming WiFi is left off? I tested my WiFiRouter and it works fine, just this app isn't doing it right. Any suggestions?

I also cant seem to get this app working. It starts up fine and shows that it's running, but my laptop doesnt see the network. I also use wmwifirouter which works, but i dont need all of its options. Im using a 6.5 rom with sprint. Id really like to get this app working. Any suggestions? Thx guys,
dschoenike

I cant lay claim to this cuz i got it from xda too, but i uninstalled the app, soft reset. turned on wifi and reinstalled and booted app. worked like a charm!! have used it several times since.

hope this helps
