alltel text problems...
 

Has anybody on alltel had problems with text messaging?
I can recieve every text message from everyone that txts me,but 1 out of 10 texts that i send makes it to the recipient.
Ive hard reset,flashed stock,flashed diffrent roms..any suggestions?

already did..and like i said its random txts 1 in 10 gets through.

I do not think it is your phone. Everyone in my home with a phone that is Alltel (now on verizon) is having the same problem.

Even my family members that are not on smartphones. I think Verizon is updating something.

I have done exactly as you have and no fix....

it happens on saturday all day,then on sunday random txts make it through..
glad to know its not just mine.....

yeah me and my wife are having the same problems since friday. i have a tp and she has a blackberry curve so its nothing to do with the phones, lol has to do with verizon jacking things up again!!! lol

From what I've read today and yesterday on multiple forums many many people are having this issue. Way to plan ahead Verizon.

i have not had any problems with my alltel phones, but as for the verizon update suggestion, that seems plausible since where i live they wont be dominent until october

as much as it sucks im glad that im not the only one..
thanks guys..
by the way after my hr an half conversation with verizon customer service this morning if you rant and rave..
about an hour ago some supervisor called and offered me a verizon rrate plane about 50 dollars cheaper than my current and a new phone (for free)..
my account has been lost in between the changeover..so now they want me to start paying again..
anyhow thanks for the feedback peeps..

pretty much i asked the customer service rep "so it doesnt matter if i pay my bill since you have no ideaa where my account is,right?"
he just laffed and told me i should keep paying it..
