I cant get 6.5 on my TP, I must be doing something wrong..
 

Okay ive been going at this for hours, almost bricked my phone but somehow fixed it. I will go through my exact steps and the downloads I am using. Hopefully someone knows where im going wrong.
I start by unlocking, I go to http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503

and I download Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip. I run it, and it says it was
successful.

Then I go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=536751 and download the "standard" version. I download and install, it says its successful, but it never flashes after it installs. It just keeps bringing up the "Touch Pro" screen, holds it for 12-15 sec then vibrates and restarts it self. This is where im at now.. I re-installed the sprint OEM software and my bootload screen looks like this...

Try a different 6.5 rom, or maybe redownload the one you want. Maybe it was corrupt during d/l. I know that the rom you were trying works, i flashed it today for fun.

so what your saying is this 6.5 rom you try wont bootup but if you flash a different from this "sprint oem rom" and it boots up and phone acts as it should? i would try a different rom or re-download the rom you tried flashing. what rom did you try by the way?

What OS are you using? I was trying to do it with Win7 and it wouldn't work no matter what I tried, or how much I tried. I eventually had to use my wife's Vista machine to get it loaded.

try to flash mightyrom 6..all u gotta do is run the exe, the bootloader and **** all run when executin' the exe..

I was thinking the same the same thing, because I use 7 too. But that other guy says that it should be fine. I'm gonna try new rom and if that doesnt work ill use another OS/

That could be my problem. Can anyone reccommend a good 6.5 ROM for CDMA? Just so I know its good..
