Simple PowerOFF button to screen LOCk
 

I have been using touch pro and windows mobile phones for as long as i can remember I cant find any program that would do this simple task of locking your phone when you press the power button I tried all other lock screens and they all fail! please help I know you guys have the knowledge and power to reroute lock command to power button. Thanks

'AutoLock' option in Diamond Tweak will do this. Basically locks whenever the device goes into standby. Also doesn't require an entire app to do this, just a simple tap or two in Diamond Tweak.

otherwise, if you don't want to install DiamondTweak, the reg change you need to make is 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDevic eLockEnable' change from 0 to 1. This will also lock your device if say the backlight goes out for another reason e.g. timeout

does this work on 6.5? there is no AutoDeviceLockEnable entry in my registry, I created one, rebooting now.

I give another vote for PocketShield, It's the one I find easiest to use because it auto unlocks when it detects light. If you don't want it to too there you can disable that to only unlock by sliding.

I confirm this reg edit does not work on 6.5, well at least on my ROM :(

another vote for pocket shield ,but it doesn't use the windows default lock in 6.5 or 6.1.
I like the lock it uses ,it works really well for me.

There is a specific App for this on 6.5. I dont recall the name of it but will try to find it.
