botton buttons disappear

so sometimes the buttons on the bottom dont wite out, it will only be a solid color. for instance, if im in a text message i cant see the new or menu button. it isnt so bad if its something i use a lot, but if i dont have what buttons are there memorized its hard to use. is there a way to make them appear, or some kind of refresh i can do on the screen so maybe it will be visible?

Um what rom are you using? Its probably something that you've installed that is messing it up. A hard reset would probably fix it.

Remember to backup your contacts/etc.

eh, its just a stock verizon touch pro. im trying not to reset because the phone is just the way i like it and it takes about 3 days to get it juuuuuust right
