Transfering flash info

Hi,
I just bought a New Sprint HTC touch pro like a week ago and paid $50.00 to have it flashed to Metro from the metro store. A few days later I realized that the phone was a refurbished phone, so I am going to get rid of it. I then bought a Brand New Sprint HTC touch pro so right now I have 2 of them. I would like to know if their is any way to get the metroflash off the refurbished phone and put it on my new phone. The guy at the metro store told me that if I can get this new phone flashed he would only charge me $10.00 to add my new ESN to the system. If I cant get the flash on the phone and he needs to do it and he's going to charge me another $50.00. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

why does it matter if its a refurb? they work just as well as a new one. thats kinda what refurb means.

Hi,
Because when I pay for a New phone it should be New, not an older fixed phone. Thats just my opinion.

See if the guy at the store will give you the flash file and then you can flash it yourself. Just a thought.

If he does, SHARE IT!!

Dial ##PST# (##778#) and tap view.

Scroll to the bottom, it shows refurbish date, if there is one.

i know that, was just trying to figure out how he found out. if it was sold as new and was actually a refurb, i would be raising hell with the seller.
