Have you ever installed pocketshield? It started when I installed pocketshield. There was some option for incall volume and i think that messed everything up. Even after uninstalling i still have the same problem.

I've never seen an "in call volume" option in PocketShield & I've used it for over a year (I just installed it this morning in one of my spare TP's).

PocketShield is hands down the best lock app available IMHO.

Pocketshield is nice, but it's hidden in some advance option, i think you have to press the green plus sign to get deeper into options. it's there though and it installs a cab to revert back to the old volume skin...

Actually, now that I think about it I know what you meant.

There is an option in PS to use the stock WinMo dialer for faster ring response (& it works very well). If you choose that, it installs the cab to disable the HTC volume control so the volume works with the older WM control.

I used to set all mine up this way & it made my systems ring WAY faster. Now, with the newer WM6.5 ROM's I find this is unnecessary.

Yea I'm having the same problem. Running MR6. No matter where my slider goes in call it's still loud as heck. I used to use pocketshield but have since hard reset and don't use it atm. This is really annoying because the pitch of voices at this level is aggravating and irritates the heck out of me.
