Help needed with some issues urgently!

Just upgraded from the Samsung i780 and found a few troubling issues. One is that the built-in YouTube app & hotmail via tmail.exe seems to force itself to use the phone's connection instead of WiFi despite the fact that Im already connected via WiFi. How do I fix this as its kinda troublesome...

The touchscreen is also quite insensitive when compared to my Samsung i780 despite the fact that Ive tweaked both the TFLOSettings & TouchPanel Reg entries to ridiculous values like 122880. What is the value that works or is my TP busted?

Hi, I had HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\software\OEM\TFLOSettings = Fingerpressure to 122880 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\TouchPanel = PressureThreshold also to 122880. Its seems that Ive already entered huge values for both but without any noticible improvements to the sensitivity.

That's the problem.
One is suppose to go higher, and the other lower or some thing like that,
not quite sure, but mine are like this:
works pretty good.

Finger pressure: 18
Pressure Threshold: 39



also, fingerpressure value is just for touchflo.
as in touchflo3d/manilla

IC, thanks codybear. I was wondering though that almost everywhere implied that values should always be higher & not lower. Some even suggested that values should not less than 4096 even for TouchFlo. What are your opinion(s) on this?

Actually we need to know what rom you are using? 6.1 or 6.5?

Actually finger pressure is the amount of pressure need to for input to register to period. These were both there in my old touch and they had nothing to do with manila. Manila and tflo 3d are benefit because the tweak affects the whole system. Also in 6.1 I used to have both set to 60,000 and they worked very well. The op needs to give us some more information before we can give a more difinitive answer.

I think Cody is the one to ask on these issues....He knows his stuff. I have my screen settings similar to his and I have no issues with sensitivity of the screen. As for the other issue, did you try turning off the data connection before using wifi and youtube?

Yes, I did ensure that my data connection is not turned on before I tried to view YouTube or checking my mail with WiFi already connected.
