Is there a cab for area codes?
 

Is there a cab available that will show what state the call is coming from when the number comes up? I know its nothing special but I've seen other phones with this option. Any help is apprieciated!

i'd like this too, specifically, just a state the caller is calling from while its ringing, on the htc sliding dialer.

There's a few different caller id programs like this.
I know a couple have been posted here,
but I've seen more at this one site and also xda-developers.com

Pretty much all of the options are pay apps and/or require a data connection.

I made one and distributed it for free, but I never received any donations so I had to discontinue the project.
