have you placed the file in the /windows/ folder or /my device/application data/sounds folder? I don't think midi files can be used but you can try. Please start using the search feature before starting a new thread. This is the 4th thread you have started in recent days that could have been answered with a little searching.

the /windows/ directory worked for me, but I used an mp3, not a midi file. Now everytime I get a text, I get a Mario 1UP LoL

convert it to mp3 or wav then place in \windows...you can also put on the root of your storage card and select it from the sounds and notifications settings...
