Wmwifirouter v0.89 woes

I’m running stock. I have WMWifiRouter 0.89 installed and want to remove it so I can reinstall but I get the following:

“Jorrit Jongma WMWifiRouter was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?”

I click “Yes,” but the program still stays on the list. If I try to reinstall it, it says the installation was unsuccessful.

Reason I want to reinstall is because I can't get wmwifirouter to assign an IP address on my macbook. It gets all the way to the ready state and says it's ready and I can connect to it on my macbook, I just can't get an IP address.

Edit to note: it was working last week but now it's not

So I'm looking for a solution to either:

1) unistall this thing
2) fix it so that it works

And please don't tell me just to do a hard reset. I'd like to try and fix this without wiping the whole phone.

TIA.

Only issue is the .89 is the last free version. You have to buy the 1.+ versions.

Worth every penny though!

small correction. .91 is the last free version. it runs really well on all my wm phones. from 6.0 on my titan to 6.5 on my touch pro. love the app and it's worked flawlessly. guess that's why I've never seen the need to upgrade to the new (paid) versions.

That version does not work flawlessly for everyone.

I had that version when I had my Titan's & it worked super, but when I moved on to m 3 TouchPro's I had so much trouble with it I came close to giving up totally on it. The newest versions work perfectly for me & I use it daily to tether my ipod touch.
