ppc kicthen fail

ok i used to use this to "cook" roms for my touch never had a problem. iv tried to cook a few for my tp but its always giving me a error box. the first thing i noticed was that it was saying it already had a bunch of oems (checked off slide to answer and different keyboards things like that) that r the same and i guess and when its extracting out the kicthens it says (file crate error c/users/............./temp/dump/et9ime.dll) iv uninstalled build os and reinstalled it. did the updater a few times. im new with this compared to most so im not really sure whats going on. any help id be very thankful for

Re: ppc kicthen fail

are you adding your own oems into the kitchen? you have duplicate files somewhere. if you have two programs that do almost exactly the same thing, you will most likely have a conflict when you go to cook your rom.

As an example, if you have one version of a keyboard checked, and you added a newer version of the same keyboard, you will get an error.

Re: ppc kicthen fail

What I did was removed all the OEM's I didn't want and put them in a backup folder (just in case). Then when making your own OEM, append something to the title, i.e. jul09-file.ext, that way you have fewer problems. Typically if you remove what you don't want and rename what you add you don't run into many problems. If you do, find out where the conflict is (it should indicate a file name or folder it was working on) and go from there.
