HTC Pro - stop Notification email messages

Can anyone show me how to get rid of the reminder/notification from email imap accounts?

I still want notifications from text messaging, alarm, and calendar reminders but not from incoming messages from imap mail accounts.

have you tried going into settings/personal/sounds and notifications/notifications/ and disable the notification for new emails?

In my settings for the new emails "Messaging: New e-mail message" event,
the checkbox is not selected for "Display message on screen"
the other checkboxes for this Event are also not selected.

are you using stock POutlook? If not and you are using another email program you would have to go into that specific programs settings.

i am using stock Outlook.

Another interesting thing is that I noticed is that when I was looking through the Event Notification, I noticed that my Text Message Event also have the display notification unselected, and yet when I get text message it notified the Text message event.

well display notification just changes whether or not you get a pop up window at the bottom of the screen when you recieve one. is that what you are trying to turn off here?

this is weird... If i deselect all the notifications all i get is the little number over my email telling me how many unreads i have. The only other thing i can suggest currently is try a soft reset to see if for some reason the settings weren't taking without one. And sometimes wierd issues are resolved with a hard reset, but thats a little extreme for this particular issue.

that is the notification that I am trying to get rid off. I know that I get frequent emails and I don't need to be notified.

ohhhh. Just to clarify, the tab in TF3D, right?

If so, that will probably require editing manila files, which is not an easy task. This will not be a setting you can just turn off me thinks.

Actually, I turned TF3D off. The notification is on the Today screen. The default on wake up is Today screen.

I do have SPB Menu which is manually turned on. I do have SPB Mobile Shell on in my today item.

I have verified that the SPB Menu and the SPB Mobile Shell do not have any notification options. I also remembered that the notification messages were already there before I got the SPB software.
