Getting rid of that Outlook Email Account.
How do you get rid of that Outlook Email account that is apparently undelete-able? It is always the first email account that shows up on any lists and since it is always empty since I don't use it I have to always scroll past it to get to my real email accounts.

When you are syncing for the first time make sure you don't sync outlook. Not sure how to remove it after you check it, perhaps you can uncheck the box in Windows Mobile Device Center

1) Connect phone to PC 2) open up Activesync (Mobile Device Center) 3) let it sync 4) Put mouse over "Mobile Device Setting" and click "Change Content sync setting" 5) Uncheck email 6) hit save and sync again. And poof, no more outlook email icon in the phone. Worked for me. |

Re: Getting rid of that Outlook Email Account.
Anyone using the soution ( deleting the activesync folder in the registry ) lose their sms notification sounds? On XDA they are reporting the same thing, but thought maybe someone had a solution to remove outlook and keep the sounds.
