ahh, there it is.. I knew there was a pesky bug flying around that hack.. yea, I could find no way around that.

actually since this thread started, I've been looking (2 tp's and a mogul) and I don't see outlook email on any of them(except in settings), even with fresh roms. I can only assume it's cuz I don't have activesync installed on my pc.

use exchange on the phone for gmail contacts/calendar.

I've been wondering about exchange. Is it free? I don't work for a business that has an exchange server or something.

O.K. I guess I deserved that, left myself open. I need to sync with the PC because I use Pocket Quicken to sync with my PC Quicken. I don't think Google Sync would work there. But I will look into it. Maybe if you point me into the right direction for the Google sync? I found it on google. but it only has 3 phones listed, and the WM phone isn't one of them.

Re: Getting rid of that Outlook Email Account.

yeah i'm kinda curious about getting rid of the annoying empty outlook email account, since i don't sync anything from the pc, i just use activesync for sprite backup pretty much, well that and file browsing through activesync, so i guess i still require it. but the outlook email box is just annoying at best.

Re: Getting rid of that Outlook Email Account.

by google sync I meant exchange to google. currently it's only for contacts and calendar, but makes a nice backup.
