trying to tether

i'm on mighty rom 6 and i'm trying to tether to my laptop. i installed the cab for the registry hacks, but when i open the ics program, the connect button is grayed out. how the heck do i get this stupid tethering thing to work?

I don't know, I've never seen that happen, did you try reloading the rom fresh?
would ICS work before you installed the reg tweaks?? (or more specifically, even if it didn't work, was the button grayed out??)

i didn't check to see if it was grayed out before. man, this rom has been nothing but trouble. i guess a reflash is in order

i was gonna say if its grayed out it means the .cab didnt take, shouldve just had to reinstall, this happened once to me b4, sorry u had to reflash

You don't need to install the regedits to enable ICS on MR6 on any of the Mighty Roms, Mighty includes it. I was able to tether right after flashing. You will probably have to hard reset in order to restore the registry and get tethering to work.

Agreed. Nothing should be needed to tether on MR since before MR4 if I remember correctly.
