How do i establish sync connection with existing contacts?
 

Hey guys,

Been having this problem recently. I'll flash a new ROM to my device, restore my contacts through PIMbackup, and then add contacts on my device as time goes on.

Then eventually i want to sync my contacts back over to my outlook. But when i create a new partnership and try to sync contacts, outlook tries to merge and creates hundreds of duplicates on both my phone and outlook contacts.

I figure this is a pretty standard scenario here. Anyone know how to fix this?

What I do is keep my contacts & calender in outlook up to date & when I do a restore from a backup I restore everything BUT the contacts & calender & just let outlook resync my phone with no problems. I found this to be the easiest way for me to avoid any problems or conflicts with outlook & my device...
