Screen / Video artifacts and tearing

First off, Just want to say thank you to all the chefs and forum members, when I discovered this place it was a Godsend. You all rock!

Now for the main point of my post, I am currently using Mighty Rom 4 on the Alltel network and I'm noticing intermittent video tearing / artifacts, sort of like the screen is offsetting itself and kinda flickering then it will go back to normal, (Its hard to explain )while navigating my touch pro. I tried reflashing other roms and still seem to have this problem that only started recently.

It seems to happen more frequently when the stylus is out of its holder, and it happens in landscape and portrait mode. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Screen / Video artifacts and tearing

I'm not sure what would cause that to happen but I know there was some sort of update for the GSm version that addressed some video issues.

Does this happen on the stock ROM? I would flash back to stock and see if it still happens as it could be a defective screen.

Re: Screen / Video artifacts and tearing

I'll flash back to the stock rom tonight and see what happens. It seems to be getting worse every time I flash but I may just be noticing it more. I'll post back later.

For those wondering, I did flash back to the stock rom, and am still experiencing the issues. I'm gonna head to Alltel today and see if I can get a replacement phone.
