Thumbs down since when did hotmail stopped working with touchflow envelope?

does hotmail account work with the envelope tab anymore?

i tried to add my hotmail account and internet explorer pops up and I have to sign in online. wthell?!

once signup I have to setup sms texting through microsoft mobile wtf...

any clue as how to setup hotmail anyone??

is kinda pointless having the envelope now if you are force to go through the web browser each time... using juicy 8 (not the July 4 release) but this little detail won't matter, unless your stock rommies can add hotmail accounts and actually see your emails show up through touchflow envelope do correct me if I'm wrong.

im on mr6 and mine works perfectly.
from the tf3d menu, click menu, then new mail and it should automatically detect settings when you enter youremail@hotmail.com.

thanks for confirming that it actually still works! that push me to look for solution even more...

I was doing the steps you mentioned but internet explorer kept popping up.

I followed the link above for help with the manual settings.

to stop internet explorer from popping up I typed
' myemail@h.com ' since typing @hotmail.com at the end made the annoying automatic mode to kick in .

manual email entering mode is was what I needed.
works fine now

Thank you for doing the legwork for me. I hated having to use my browser to check my email these past few weeks.

With this method you don't even need Windows Live installed on the phone.
