Cracked screen, need to backup

Sprint is sending me a new TP and I want to avoid reloading/tweaking everything on it to get it to be the same as my current one. I cant view anything on the TP but was hoping there was a way to create a mirror image from my PC. Any ideas?

thanks for the quick reply! So with that program, could I install a backup program like Sprite to do the backup from the desktop?

OK no luck getting this program to run. I cant get the TP out of the storage disk mode to connect it. Thanks anyway.

aw dont give up !
try this to change out of storage mode:

1. push house button (beside Dpad)
2. push top left corner of screen (where START menu should be)
3. push "s" on keyboard (should select Settings)
4. push "tab"
5. push right arrow key TWICE
6. push tab
7. push "u" on keyboard
8. push enter

NOW.. this part is tricky, because you cant tell which option is selected:

since you are in disk mode, lets pretend disk mode is selected by the cursor:

1. push up arrow key
2. push enter

hopefully works..
if not you may have to push up arrow key different amount of times before pushing enter lol.
and also may not work depending on your rom..
still, try it

Thanks so much for the instructions! Ive played around with this for the last hour with no success. Not sure what I did but now my phone is "tweeting" at me every 30 seconds hahaha.

At this point I will just wait until my replacement arrives tomorrow and start from scratch with everything. In fact with the Mighty v6 ROM coming out tomorrow I may venture into unlocking and flashing that to my new TP!

hehehehe is it only chirping at you while plugged in via USB ?
that would probably mean you checked the checkbox at the bottom that prompts you to select which mode to use..

..which, if that was the result of the very last attempt.. that checkbox would still be selected, and you should push up arrow twice, then enter.



good luck, whatever you end up doing.
definitely start doing a weekly backup after you get the new one

Tried a tv cable?

NSbackup worked for me its desktop installed or sd installed

As for the tweeting checking the internet/data connenctivity while it is connected via usb. My tp did some random things for a while till i unchecked the do not connect while connected via usb.
