Battery cover mod question

I am getting an extended battery for my TP unfortunately the cover that comes with the battery does not have any kind of plastic shield where the camera lens will be. I was wanting to glue a small cut to fit plastic shield onto the inside of the battery cover. Any ideas what kind would be okay for shooting pictures. I am looking for a plastic that won't cause streaks in the photo or glare marks or make it grainy.

Re: Battery cover mod question

mm sorry that i dont know about plastic, but just curious: why dont you buy an extra of the OEM battery cover and cut out the original camera area from it ?

Re: Battery cover mod question

I had initially thought about that. But when I looked at the oem cover, it looks as if the lens cover is mounted in between layers of plastic so that there is no way to cut it other than cutting the actual cover in which case I don't think it would fit in the extended cover.
