Micro SDHC Problems

I am having problems with getting my HTC Touh Pro to read my 8gb pny micro sdhc. I put it in, it asks if I would like to format it, I push yes, it says formatting complete. When I look in the under the storage card, it states not installed. Any help you could give would be great.

Format it on your computer in FAT32, and then plug it into your phone.
