Stopping the "Preceding msg modified...." message...

Okay, here's the deal.. I'm working on finding a way to stop the above message. I don't care if txt's get broken up into multiples, I just don't want people sending me txts to get the message... I don't care if I get it, but I can't have dispatch getting bounce backs like this everytime they send a 911 to my phone!

So... I'm digging and looking!! If anyone has any suggestions let me know, maybe as a group we can at least stop the message from being bounced to senders...

I've searched and seen LOTS of posts about it, most want EMS enabled, I could care less, I just CANNOT have the bounce back!

Thanks,

-Corey

I don't understand what you are trying to say really? Maybe someone else does and can respond, but I'd recommend you make it a little clearer so you can get help from more of us.

I think i know what the problem you are trying to say but it comes from when someone sends a text message that is more then 160 words or something like that but when it becomes more then that it makes it like a mms i think and breaks up the sms into more then one sms but it adds something onto it from the server that is redirecting the sms to your phone and adds something onto the sms file that the phone thinks is a mms but sorry i really dont know how to fix it and wish i did also
