Re: Best Gps For Tp

when did it become a charged app? we never even had it on moguls until the 6.1 upgrade, and it was certainly free back then even... dont everyone knock VZW for doing this, charging for their own Nav App(now i know that vzw was blocking any other app, not case for sprint)... why would sprint change to that type of policy when it was already free, and they give us 3prty abilities anyways...

and also where does it say what it charges for srpint nav??? certainy not when u run the app, theyd be setting up for a class action, like on ETFs, if they dont identify the payment amount somewhere and just charge for it

I use Igo8, installed on a 2 GB memory card with North America and Canada maps. It does not use data,it strictly uses the satellite. I can upload it and share it,if it's not illegal.

Nav4All is free, and it has voice directions.

***edit, nvm, u mean simply everything huh..

**edit2.. http://nextelonline.nextel.com/NASAp...8390&x=46&y=17 every data plan sprint offers includes GPS Navigation
I have the Data pack add on... unlimited data for $15/mo on top of my phone plan which is $29/mo. I checked the specifics of the data pack and it does NOT list NAV. Sprint doesn't advertise this as a "plan"... it is an add-on to the stand-alone phone plans. I have an old fair and flexible phone plan that I have no desire to give up so the data pack is a perfect fit for me. So for $45 a month I have unlimited data and phone for the price most people pay for just their phone plan.

And I really couldn't get by w Sprint Nav anyway... I live in the midwest where I need GPS the most when I have no signal. I really like Garmin XT (although I really wish it had TTS for speaking names of roads).
