Free Alternative to Exchange

2 Attachment(s)
I've been using mail2web for a while and I loved how my mail was pushed to my phone. I recently downloaded a .cab file that installs Sprint Mail App that allows you to configure pretty much any email carrier to push the mail to your phone. I tested it a couple days and it doesn't seem to drain the battery too much and works like a charm. I also use the My Phone app from Microsoft to backup my contacts, texts, calendar, etc... I'm thinking of dropping mail2web and just using this combo since it does all I need. It seems to push my mail faster than mail2web did. Let me know if it works for other carriers. Thanks

Isn't Exchange free if I don't pay for it? :)

If this works with OWA, I will hunt you down and kiss you!

EDIT:

HOLY CRAP! This totally did it! I got my OWA tethered to my phone! You are the man! :) :) :)

Yes, but who now offers free exchange?

I tried it, it works wonders, but I haven't been able to set up multiple email. Is it even able to set up multiple email accounts?

Sorry, I was being a smarty...my work paid for it, I didn't :)

On topic, I tested out your cab and it worked perfectly.

Nueva Sync!! currently nueva sync only offers synchronization for contacts and calendars with Gmail. They will also offer gmail email sync soon, right now is in beta testing, which Im testing and is really good except battery life... TP battery sucks anyways =/

Has any non Sprint users tried this? I was wondering if it works on any network.

I know about that .br free exchange server but I'd rather not share my private information with a non-trusted company...
