Need a recommendation for GPS software (to runs etc)

Hey folks,

I'm wondering if anyone has an recommendations for a gps app I can use to track my run, biking etc and export to a google earth (kmz) file. I was using MyMotion, which was awesome, however it does not seem to work well with Winmo 6.5 (or perhaps the new roms I downloaded). Anyways, any help would be great!

An added bonus is if it relayed information such as speed/distance during said exercise back to me as My Motion does.

Thanks!

What is the issue with the mymotion software? Maybe you need to update .Net Framework? I know that sometimes causes issues. However, I'm pretty sure most of the Roms past 6.1 have the updated version anyway. So maybe I'm wrong.

The .net framework is up to date. I believe the ROM (Energy) I am using has either 3.5 or 3.7.

The issue is, the program launches, however the main window is completely black(when it should not be) and does not refresh if I switch to any other app . I can access the preferences via a softkey, I can even tell the application to start it's logging (I know where the start button is, even though it is blacked out). I had a previous version of this program archived, and it did not even install. Got the new version, it installed, but now this issue.

In other words, everything with MyMotion works EXCEPT the visual aspect of the non-menu portion (i.e. the main window/interface).

edit: if I switch to the home screen, for e.g., and switch pack to the app, the visual of the home screen remains, and the visual of the softkey from the homescreen remains UNTIL I click the softkey, at which point the softkey changes to the correct name.

Try run.GPS. I used it while hiking and generally liked it, though the interface take a little getting used to. Not sure about 6.5, though, I run stock.

It will speak information to you at regular (settable) intervals - distance, speed, etc.

navizon has a built in tracker, however u have to map enough wifi APs to get the upgrade to pro for free or pay $20 for the full app, or else its free
