Re: HTC TP not a good music player?

TP sounds awesome in my car. And use GSPlayer, too. It's sweet! http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/

Re: HTC TP not a good music player?

It's obviously an issue with volume. When you have it connected directly to your amps the phone just does not put out enough voltage to the rca inputs on the amps and when you try to turn the volume up it just distorts the signal. Like stated before, you need a way to adjust volume in between your phone and the amps. You can even use a cheap fm radio and use an fm transmitter. I run my TP through my tuck's fm radio using a FM tranmitter and it sounds pretty good. Gets a little staticy at times though.

Re: HTC TP not a good music player?

no, he doesnt need to adjust the vol, he would need to find an amp that will have a gain that will go low enough to match the output of the TP. vol has nothing to do with it.

Re: HTC TP not a good music player?

My 2 cents- get yourself a Sony BT2500 from ebay for ~ $100. Supports bluetooth a2dp streaming audio, which sounds surprisingly good (can't really tell its wireless if you have the encoding settings right!). I have this in both my cars, and not only don't I need to plug it in, I can actually LEAVE MY PHONE IN MY POCKET
