Re: Stable, easiest 6.5 flash

Embrace the dark side! Besides, a ROM flash is a lot less painful and a lot faster than a SuSe install. I always flash via sd and when I decide to change roms, I usually line up a few that interest me even though I already have a good idea what I'll end up with. I flash and play with a few before settling on one and going through a sync and program install (sashimi or uc, but we'll work on that later). More often than not, a few minutes of testing will tell you if the rom is for you or not. Like tequilla, there is no perfect rom. But the search for one is a heck of a good time!

On that note, I highly recommend Gran Centenario Reposado.

Re: Stable, easiest 6.5 flash

I flashed groove rom 6.5 a few days ago and I like it so far. I like the customizations done to the today screen. It's been pretty stable for me so far, but again it has just been a few days.

Just to chime in again... if you text a lot, I'd stay away from WM6.5 for the time being. There's a very off and intermittent lag/freeze when exiting a message to seems to be localized to this version of WM.

I have not experienced this with Mighty Rom5...It is responsive and only one bug i can note and it is a known bug in the lock screen of 6.5...Just try one.

Re: Stable, easiest 6.5 flash

My problem with every ROM I've read up on is that there is some kind of major glitch. Energy's rom is great, but it locks up on me. I did nsfan's and it was good except internet would not work. When I look at some of the others I see similar problems in every thread.

"No big deal, just try them all" etc. I have too much crap to do to read 40 pages of "how do I turn off vibrate" just to see if my question is still up in the air. I love the work that these chefs do but egads 300pg forum posts are not helping.
