Sprint TP Spazzed out

Hey guys,

My touch pro randomly did a PRL update while I was using it and then would never connect to the internet again and signal quality is TERRIBLE. Pages won't open sometimes and other times they open, but at speeds no where even near 1x.

What could have happened? I try to update PRL and Update profile and neither will work - hard reset didn't fix it.

What can I do now?

try to reset profile (if u'r still running stock rom) what service provider do u have? sprint? verizon? someone else?


u can also try manually updating your prl to one of these (not quite the latests for everyone but its worth a shot)

save to phone memory, dial ##PRL#, enter your msl unlock code, point it to the new file, click ok to update, reset

Thank you for the help - it is from Sprint.

Is it normal for it to do a PRL update automatically without me asking it to? This is the first time it's ever done that and I've owned it for a while. Any time I click PRL update now, it will say "the update is now being applied" which I find to be odd.

Also, should the PRL effect my signal and internet? I thought it was only for roaming?
