Re: Financial Calculator?

I've used a TI emulator before. Most of their ROM's are available from the Texas Instruments website (for purposes of restoring your device). Generally speaking, you should own the actual device if you're going to use an emulator/ROM. Will see if I can dig up some links.

Edit:

I think this was the emulator I used. You can also find instructions on that site for downloading the ROM from a TI calculator that you own.

Re: Financial Calculator?

Have you run into any hiccups with the emulator for the Ti Calculator. This would be a very helpful tool while at work as the phone is much smaller than the calc itself.

Re: Financial Calculator?

I haven't ran into any problems when I use it in my college classes.

Awesome. I was actually hoping for the HP calcs, since that's what I'm used to, but the financial functions on the TI-83 are just as good. Dumb question: since it's an .exe, does that mean I have to install it via ActiveSync? Or do I save it to my phone and open it from within the phone?

It is a setup exe that would need to be run on your PC. The extracted cab is attached, and can be run directly from your device.

Yeah, I've had the TI Emulator.
I loved being able to use all the TI calculators in my class.
But they did complain about it when it came to tests due to the fact it's on my phone. They said I could cheat.
I said me???!?!?!......Cheat????!?!?!?!!.....How dare you accuse me of something so vile.

Awesome. Now I just wish I had it on my laptop, too.
