GC VZW Arcsoft MMS not installing on my TP?
 

I extracted all the files from the computer onto the phone. When I click on SETUP which seems like the file I have to click on, I get an open browser, but nothing ever shows up.

Any ideas?

it should be a .cab. what is the exact file name?

I see absolutely no .cab file. _SETUP.xml and the rest are files with numbers in the extensions.

Downloaded these files from about 3 different sources so it has to be the right one...

nope. if its not a .cab extension you cant load it. where did you get the files from?

From here... Also from xda forums... all the same files... could you point me to the correct files?

wait, you extracted it? what is the actual file name. i'll bet its showing up as a .rar file but the actual name of the file is XXXX.cab. cabs show up as .rar files if your using winrar.

Yes it's a .rar.... i basically extracted the .rar and put it on my phone... should I change it to .cab instead?

nope. go to "go advanced" next to "post quick reply" and upload the file for me.

well. changed it to a .cab and now it's showing up as a .cab file, but it says Installation Unsuccessful.
