EVDO Rev A is limited to, as far as I know, to 3.1mbps. This is up from 2.4mbps in EVDO (Rev 0), and definitely not capable of reaching 13.02mps that you've achieved. Not to mention that it's estimating your bandwidth on onlu a 0.15sec sample.

The download test is a result of caching, WiFi connection, or an ActiveSync connection.

BTW your ping alone would've been greater than the 0.15sec it supposedly took to download the 250kb file.

It's gotta be caching. Similar thing happened to me with dslreports speed test showing ~30Mbps. And 250k is too small a file for an accurate speed test, I thought. Do a 1MB file and see what you get.

I'm not arguing against you guys - it may be cached.

I just tested via IE on DSLReports.com and got 1102 kbps.

So theres nothing better than a 1.11 radio that can be used for a Sprint CDMA Touch pro?? Too bad we cant use the 1.12, 1.14 and theres even a 1.15 radio out for the diamond..
