data sessions draining battery

i have noticed short battery life in the last couple of days. i have also noticed that the data arrows are always on the screen instead of the signal bars. is there any way to correct this? has any one else had this issue? i have not added any thing new to my phone so i don't know why this just started. my battery usually last through at least most of the day and now it only lasts through the morning. This Sucks

Do you have email setup? Push email? auto updates for weather? Instant messenger on?

IT might be registry tweaks in the ROM you are using,if you are using one. If you are using something like Mighty ROM,Groovy ROM,Juicy ROM,ect. just try a different rom or you can change the registry but BE CAREFULL ONE MISTAKE CAN CRASH YOUR PHONE!! HOPE THIS HELPS

Re: data sessions draining battery

If you want to disable data at certain times you can use NoData, it's great as it completely disables the data connection. It can be downloaded at http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket...tility-nodata/

Re: data sessions draining battery

believe it or not, but letting your battery drain completely and charge to full again does help with battery life. I was skeptical at first, but I had forgotten to charge my phone during work one day and it died on my way home. Now the battery can last without me charging it at work. I'd imagine this will only work a couple times before the battery is really kaput.
