MYXER ringtones w/ Touch Pro?
 

everytime I download a ringtone from Myxer it just shows up as a file i cannot play ): is there something i need to do to my TP inorder for me to use them as ringtones? btw im currently on Mighty/Silence ROM

what file type is it saying it is?i use myxer, always works..

just did it for grins again... follow the link, DLd to rintone folder... it worked fine

I say that the easiest way to overcome the problem that you are having is, to use limewire or some other proggie to download the song that you want and use your usb cable to send it to your phone, then use the mp3 ringtone slicer built into your phone to cut up and make your ringtones... I have almost 6500 ringtones on my phone and did them this way... much easier than myxer.com

it saves them as a .gcd and wont let me save them as anything else, ya i do it that way but sometimes i just like how myxer picks what part of the song to use as the ringtone

send them to your phone through a text message. when it ask send to phone click that button

i tried that and also in my account settings i put it to save ringtones as mp3s but it still no matter what downloads it as a text/.gcd file...): btw im on silent/mighty rom so idk if thats the problem

no, i know the problem youre having. do this: you can send the link or get it. go into Internet Explorer and put the link there. it should download as .wav into /my documents.
you can do what you please after that.

Don't use Opera to open the link. Use Internet Explorer

Or you can have Myxer send it to your email account. Directions

Make sure when you are using Internet Explorer, you have to turn off java scripting aka "scripting" to get this method to work (from text link).
