Help....storage card now erased????
 

Hey guys....i just flashed a new rom (Ivan's Vista Rom) and noticed that after doing so my storage card is now gone! ](*,) Has this happened to anyone....more importantly is there anyway i can get the info back (i know it sounds like a stupid questin but i figured i still ask since i have a lot of new stuff that wasnt saved since my last backup) i dont think its the rom (i beleive i flashed the rom a while back) and i am constantly flashing roms....any help i greatly appreciate it...

Hi, sorry to hear about that. Did you flash via sd card or activesync? I do believe that some ROMS cause this to happen and unfortunately, its irreversible. The most I can tell you to do is think of all the cabs and stuff you had before and maybe whatever was last backed up. also check in Ivan's Rom section if it states anything about this.

Don't save anything to it,
Find yourself a good data recovery program.
If you'd like a link to the one I use, send me a pm and I'll find it for you.
I prolly won't notice a reply as I'm working on my new touchpro I just got.
Otherone's keyboard went out. :/

Then just run the program and it should do the rest for you. ;)
but it can take a while for it to fully recover all the data and then copy it to your harddrive/computer.
I think mine took 4 hours last time, but I didn't loose a single thing. woot!

Thanks again. It looks like it was able to recover the files but i havent been able to look thru things or figure out why i have double the amount (i have a 4gb card but it recovered 9+gb of info) Thanks again and i will post my final info.

Recover My Files is a good one too. I just lost over 500gb of data on one of my hard drives and that helped me recover most of it.

I learned this lesson the hard way. Unfortuantley data recovery didn't work for me. Always remove your card when you do any sort of ROM flash or hard reset!!
