TF2D2, background images?

Anybody have any pointers for creating decent background images in TF3D2?

I have a decent picture of my motorcycle that I would like in both portrat and landscape, however try as I might to get a decent image in portrat it turns out horrible in landscape.

Any pointers?

make sure youve sized it right.. 480x640 and 640x480

actually, unless you make your own theme, the picture must be 640x640 to look alright in both portrait and landscape
