minimizing a program???
How do I minimize & then bring back up a running program??
I am running Merdin's 6.5 ROM & I use QuickMenu to get around using the stupid 6.5 start menu. The problem is, QM kills the HTC task manager. I can re-enable it with a regedit, but the edit never sticks. I know I can minimize a running program by hitting the home hardware button, but how do I bring it back up again?????? I used to use Wisbar 3 for this, but I don't want to install WB with this system. ~John |
Re: minimizing a program???
Without a task manager I think you're screwed.

Re: minimizing a program???
Just run the program again and it will pop backup.

Re: minimizing a program???
Yeah, I would just look for a light task manager app and download it.

Re: minimizing a program???
Doesn't your Qmenu keep a list of running programs at the top? (mine does and works very nicely)

Re: minimizing a program???
your talking about this right???? http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/img2/quickmenu-3.png
task manager is built into it, highlight close program and your running apps come up... i used this b4, its not better because you lose the traditional task manager imho... fyi, even after u delete the it, it wont restore task manager.. i even tried to go in through comm manager in TF and it wouldnt load that page.. it like completely disables every part of traditional task manager... i had to hard rest to get it back.. ****edit, oops, didnt see last 2 posts for some reason......sorry |
Re: minimizing a program???
Hi there,
Taskfacade is a great program that you can link to a button with AE button plus. This is the best way I have found to get from program to program. Task facade can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=420220 AE Button Plus can be found here: http://ae.inc.ru/aebplusdownload.php Ae button can also be used to map other buttons to single, double, triple and long presses. Both are really friggin' useful. Nb |
