Emails auto deleted off phone???
 

Hi all. I am having problems with my TP auto-deleting my emails from my inbox. After 1 week, the emails in the inbox just disappear. They don't go into the deleted items folder either. I called sprint to ask for assistance, they don't know anything. So they sent me a new phone...same problem.
Is there a setting in there somewhere to stop this from happening???

Any help out there is much appreciated!

Are you syncing with your pc or anything? Are they still on your main server if you login to your mail on the web?

I've gone through all of the settings, can you help me find where that setting is?

I just looked and I was mistaken...are the emails still on the main server? Let me see what I can find in the settings real quick bro....

ok, try this....open your messaging...hit menu, tools, options...then tap your email account...then send/recieve schedule...and see what the "download messages" box has....Mine is set to "from past 7 days", and will remove all messages from my phone older than 7 days everytime I send/recieve....does that help?

you have to make sure the emails arent deleted off server, its more likely a setting on the PC you are using and not the TP

His mail stays on the server, it may just be set like mine to download past 7 days messages...and it removes older than 7 days...I do that so I dont clutter up my inbox lol.

I think that may have worked. I switched the setting to download all messages, and it only brought back the ones that I DID NOT DELETE, but they disappreared on their own. REDNECKS ROCK!!!!
