Upgrade my HTC Touch Pro
 

I look and I look, but I see the ones for Verison, Altell, Sprint. But I can't find a darn thing for US Cellular. Is there a 6.5 ROM update for my phone? And is there a Step by Step instructions to follow? As you can tell I am new to this. So sorry if this has be descussed, I just couldn't find it.

Look at the guide to upgrading. ALMOST all roms work on all devices even if it says that they are sprint or alltel roms. You just need to find your carrier cab, and install it after the rom flash. You also need to copy down your mms settings from your current rom to copy them to the new rom in order to get mms working.
Two more things!
1. Read the rules, as you should only post in the upgrades section to release a rom or radio or kitchen.

Thanks for the advise, if a moderator could move this post where it belongs that would be great. But in truth, it is that "Almost" part that gets me wondering. :-)

Haha yeah, when a rom says sprint only or something, usually it just has built in settings that the carrier cab can fix, and your mms settings to get that working again. I have never not flashed a rom because it is "carrier specific" and i have had ZERO problems at all. So i say flash away :)

it also good to download a copy your carrier's stock rom, just encase you have to take your phone in for service. whatever you do just dont walk into technical support center w/ a custom rom on your phone...!O!
