WM6.5 Email

I have a gmail account and an exchange account synced with my TP. Both have multiple folders and such all synced as well. Problem is, none of those folders notify you if there is anything new, they must be manually checked. Is there anyone to have this enable just like mail in the inbox?

I have been hoping for the same thing but as far as I know the phone only checks the inbox unread count not the folders. Would be great if someone knew how to do this.
