roaming & data connections

hi, i am leaving for canada in a couple days and don't want to incur data roaming charges... is there a way to tell my TP to block data connections when i'm roaming? i'm using msexchange with push, along with other emails, so my phone is normally just downloading data all the time. thanks.

Re: roaming & data connections

Or you can just use the utility installed on your phone to prevent data roaming...

Open the phone application then hit menu->options then hit services and scroll down to the one that says roaming. Then turn on Data Roam guard to not allow data connections while roaming and tell it to not ask you so you don't get annoying pop ups all the time.

Problem solved...

Those of us with another carriers phone on our carrier (Alltel phone on Verizon for me), that option doesn't work.
