PPCGeeks - Best Media Player for XVid Avi's

Hi All,
I am looking for suggestions on what is the best Media Player to use for XVid's on the TP? Here is what I am using it for....Since they switched over from Analog to Digital only TV we have lost the reception from our 12volt TV tuner in our car and boat....so basically until I can find a suitable 12 volt digital tuner, I want to DL tv shows to a mSD card and use my TP as a mobile DVR using the TP TV out cable! I tried Windows Media Player, and that dont seem to work with the XVid Files you can download, I have CorePlayer and that works ok...but the video seems a bit choppy, at least on the TP screen, but I have not recieved my TV out cable yet so have not been able to try it on the Larger Screens yet, so I dont know if that is a problem with the program or maybe a problem of reading from the SD card fast enough or just hardware limitations.
