Question Updating ROM's

Maybe this is a poor question - but when you update a ROM to a newer version does it completely re-flash? I guess I never understood this. For example: I want to update my Mighty ROM to the newest version... do I have to back up all of my stuff and re-flash or does it just update the ROM itself?

thanks ahead of time!

you have to backup because it erases everything and completly redoes everything

Re: Updating ROM's

I suspected that was the case...

so a resco backup, flash, then resco restore would be the ticket to get up to date?

i wouldnt suggest resco backup for flashing. I would just install myphone and backup just contacts and messages, or backup with pimbackup, but myphone is the best way to do it now!
