being online and connected to activesync at the sametime?
 

Hey guys...quick question. I thought that we should be able to be connected to Activesync and still be able to go onto the internet at the sametime? I havent tried it in a while but i just did and its not working. im not sure if it is possible, then do i need to check a setting or something like that. If it matters, im using Mighty Mike's 6.03.09 rom with a verizon radio. Thanks.

i believe someone asked this not to long ago and the answer was NO, you cant activsync and have internet at the same time.

There is an option in Activsync to enable wireless connection while synced. It's under file-connection settings-allow wireless connection on device..., check this box and you will have wireless activated while synced. Works for me anyways.

I thought the phone uses your computers internet while connected via activesync?

it does but i think the OP it talking about using the phones internet while synced.

You can't use the phone's internet connection OP. At least I don't know how to do so.

There are ways to do this depending on what exactly your talking about.
--If you are talking about just getting internet on your phone while activesyncd you just have to go to activesync, click file/connection settings/allow wireless connection on device while connected to desktop.
--If you are trying to use your phone as a modem and be activesynced you can do this by using MyMobiler, and set it up to connect with IP(very cool).

Thanks all i got it working. I had the box checked in Active Sync but it wasnt working. I restarted my computer and it is now working...strange. Thanks!
