Force Roam Program?
 

Is there a program that allows for the phone to start roaming when desired and be turned off after roaming is unnecessary?
So far reception in my basement has been horrible and I want to be able to use it down there, so i was wondering if it is possible to find a program that incorporated the regedits/whatever the force roam cab does that can easily turn on or turn off when needed instead of installing and uninstalling?

here ya go... just go into your phone settings and now roam option is available in there..

want to try this, but not sure what to do with a zip file that opens an xml file.

You can make a simple an quick registry change to get the Roam Only option.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\InitProv\PhoneSett ing

1) Change ItemCount to 3

2) Change ItemName3 = Roam Only. (Default = Automatic-B )

Soft reset. Go back to the settings you should now see roaming option.

You will nedd a registry editor to do this though. PHM Registry Editor works great and it is free. You can get it here..

here use this, I didnt dowload teh other zip but this is the one I have been using since last year...checked it again, unzip and boom there is a cab...install to main memory, do a softy

This gives you the Roam only feature that the TP didnt come with.

Thanks again, is this option in our custom roms..:? Or just using this cab will make sure we always have service either with our own service or whatever towers that's close, sorry, I seen some of this in the past but just wasnt sure what it meant..!

no prob man, this gives you Roam only option that you can select or deselect anytime you want in addition to the existing Sprint only and Automatic
