MS Exchange and calendar question

I just switched from using active sync to sync my calendar to letting our exchange server do it. I can add events on either the desktop or TP and they will show up on both just fine, but when I delete an event on the TP it won't delete it in Outlook. When I delete an event in Outlook it will delete it on the TP. Is this normal behavior or is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

Re: MS Exchange and calendar question

Has to be a setting missing somewhere as it deletes them from either place if deleted on the phone or the computer (via outlook) for me...

Check your sync settings in ActiveSync on your phone.

Re: MS Exchange and calendar question

I can't find a setting anywhere that determines permissions for deleting events on either device.

Re: MS Exchange and calendar question

I typed my last response in a hurry as I'm supposed to be studying for an exam... I'll get back to that in short bit

You can try opening ActiveSyn on your Touch Pro then hitting Menu -> Configure Server and tap next until you get to the "Edit Server Settings" screen. Check that your settings there are as you'd like. Then hit Menu->Advanced and check what your device is set to do about conflicts and the like.

See if anything in there helps.

If not, you can always delete the exchange partnership on your device and set it up again and see if that clear it up.

Re: MS Exchange and calendar question

I actually think if you delete from your phone, you have to do a manual synch through the ActiveSynch app on the phone, or it may wait till your next push from the server. I Have found that calandar updates can be a bit touchy somtimes edits on either side are automatic, or I have to manually synch the phone to get the calandar to update
